Ionia Daily Sentinel, 13 May 1918

The body of John Grooms who died Saturday was sent to Stanton this morning at 
6:30.  The bearers were H. F. Voelker, Leon Haskins, A. E. Swanberg and William 
Pearce.  The funeral will take place this afternoon at two o’clock.  Burial is 
Stanton cemetery.
