Ionia Daily Sentinel, 11 Apr 1963

Arnold A. Gross, 59, died suddenly Wednesday evening at his home on route 
three, Portland.

He was employed at Parley?-Earhart corporation of Portland, and was a member of 
Portland St. Patricks church and Knights of Columbus, and St. Joseph society of 
Westphalia.

Surviving are his wife, Martha; five daughters, Mrs. Marie Schrauben, Mrs. Rita 
Snitgen, Alice Gross, Mary and Ann Gross; three sons, Stanley J. Gross, Donald 
R. and Gary, all of Portland; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Leo Smith, 
also of Portland.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patricks church with the 
Rev. Fr. J. J. Amman officiating.  Interment will be at Portland cemetery.  
Rosary will be recited at 3 and 8 p.m. Friday at Neller funeral home at 
Portland.  Bearers will be Louis Pung, Leon Pung, John Meyers, Robert Goodman, 
Isadore Fedewa and Harold Huhn.
