Her maiden name was Muma, was born in Canada in 1810, and united in marriage to Daniel Grove Dec. 22, 1829, who preceded her to the other shore 29 years ago. They were the parents of eight children, the oldest being 68 years and all are living. The deceased has been a member of the M.E. church for 60 years and her home was always open to the workers in the Master’s cause. A kind and generous woman who has done much to brighten the pathway of life for herself and others has gone. Rev. O.J. Golden officiated at the funeral held at the house Tuesday. Her children are Mrs. Fred Muma, of Allegan, Mrs. Jarvis Stocking, of Santa Barbara, Cal., Orrin Douglas, of Whitten, Cal., L.D. Grove, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Mrs. Sylvanis Weed, Mrs. H.A.
