Stewart from the home of Mr. Grover’s uncle, Herbert E. Smith, at 3 o’clock and from the Church of Christ at 3:30. At the church musical selections were given by Mrs. Fred S. Howard, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. E.C. Bloomer. The bearers were Reber Grover, Norwood Dennis, Glendon Austin, Charles Brown, Adli Grover, Lloyd Grover. The interment took place in the Woodard Lake cemetery. Among those from out of town to attend the services were Mr. and Mrs. William Gray and Herbert Grover, Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Sweet, of Ypsilanti; Mrs. Grover and son, Reber, of Mt. Clemens and Mr. and Mrs. Addison Grover and Lloyd and Adli, of Grand Rapids. Miss Lucille Grover, was the daughter of Mrs. Bertha Grover. She died at their home on West Main Street last Thursday morning following several years of illness. The funeral services were from the home of Mr. Grover’s uncle, Herbert L. Smith, 331 Division Street. Interment was in the Woodard Lake cemetery. Miss Grover was born in this vicinity and had always lived here. She attended the Ionia high school and would have graduated with class of 1926 but was taken sick at Christmas time before the completion of her studies. She leaves a sister, Mrs. William Gray, of Detroit, and a brother Ambrose; her grandfather, A.G. Smith, besides her mother.
