Sentine-Standard - Saturday, Oct. 13, 1951

Ernest E. Grover, 78, of St. Johns died at Clinton County Memorial hospital, 
St. Johns, Saturday, October 13, at 7:10 a.m. after being a patient there for 
seven weeks. He had been in poor health for several years.

He was born in Easton township January 19, 1873, son of Adiriah and Eliza 
Grover. He was a resident of Ionia county for 25 years. He married Cora Bright 
of Ionia September 8, 1897, and they lived in St. Johns since 1934.

He was a former member of the Ionia lodge, L.O.O.M.

Surviving besides the wife are a daughter, Mrs. L.E. Francis, of Manistee; a 
son, Reber, assistant fire chief of Ionia; two grandchildren; two brothers, Phy 
of Los Angeles, Calif., and Addison of Grand Rapids; and one sister, Ella, of 
Flint.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Boynton funeral home. 
Interment will be in Balcom cemetery.
