Dec. 10, 1928 R. A. Grover, died at his home near the reformatory Sunday evening a 8:30, following a year's illness of tuberculosis. The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock at the home Wednesday afternoon and at the Church of Christ at 2:30. The burial will be in the Woodard Lake Cemetery. [Unreadable line] but his lived the greater part of his life in Easton Township. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Lucille at home, and Mrs. Mildred Gray of Detroit; a son, Ambrose, who is a sailor on the Great Lakes, three brothers, Addison of Grand Rapids, William of Adrian and Ernest of Mt. Clemens; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Austin of Seneca and Mrs. Louella Anderson of Flint. Additional Comments: From the Daily Sentinel, Thurs., Dec. 13, 1928: The funeral services for R. A. Grover were held from the Church of Christ Wednesday afternoon oat 2:30 with Rev. Alfred Trenerry in charge. Relatives Charles Brown, Milton Smith, Gordon Smith, Lloyd Grover, Adaline Grover, and Reba Grover served as bearers. Burial ws in the Woodard Lake Cemetery. Among those from out of town to attend the services were Mr. and Mrs. Addison Grover, their two sons and their families of Wayland; William Grover Adrian, Ernest Grover, Mt. Clemens; Mr. and Mrs. William Gray, Jackson and Herbert Grover Detroit.
