Christina B. Grozinger Dies at Woodland

Mrs. Christina B. Grozinger, 97, route one,  Woodland, passed away Tuesday 
forenoon at the home of a grand niece and husband, Mrs. and Mrs. Eugene Reuther. 
Her parents were Christian and Christina (Reiser) Burkle and she was one of 
Woodland townships oldest resident and passed away about one half mile east of 
her birth place.

A life member of the Woodland Zion Lutheran church, she was the church organist 
for many years. A retired school teacher, she had also ben the Woodland 
postmistress for 12 years from 1927 to 1939.

Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Eugenia England of St. Joseph and a nephew Robert 
Born in Woodland, several grand nieces and nephews. 

Her husband Charles Grozinger passed away in 1928.

Mrs. Grozinger reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel until Friday forenoon then 
will be taken to the Zion Lutheran church where funeral services will be held at 
1:30 with burial in the Woodland Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Elnar Unseth will 
officiate.
