The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 3, 1957

Prayer was said for Mrs. Jessica Grummet, 78, who died at the Ionia County 
Memorial hospital Sunday morning at the Myers funeral home Wednesday morning 
at 8:30, followed by a Requiem high mass at the SS. Peter and Paul church at 9 
o’clock.  The Rev. Fr. M. A. Van Bergen sang the mass.  

Interment was in the Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Bearers were Patrick Ryan, William 
Ryan Jr., Thomas Ryan and Carl Koenhlien.

Attending from out of town were Mrs. Gladys Ryan and family, Patrick, William 
Jr. and Thomas Ryan of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kennedy and Family of 
Boston, Mass., Richard Kennedy of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Virginia Koenhlien 
of Belding and Mrs. Helen Kenney and Marjorie of Fenwick.
