Funeral services for Jay Grummett, 59, who died Sunday afternoon at his home, 
228 Yeomans street, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Myers funeral home.  
Interment was in the family lot, Easton cemetery.  The Rev. Wayne Davis 
officiated.  Taps for Grummett, a veteran of World War I, were blown by Frank 
Wirtz.

Pall bearers were Herbert Sanmon?, Harry Roberts, Otis Lindeman and Barney 
Hackett.

Persons from out of town attending the services included Mrs. Don ____ of 
Flint, Mr. and Mrs. Sam ____ of Palo, Mr. and Mrs. George Meyers of Allegan, 
Mrs. Mel__  ____ , Mrs. Bertha Scott and Mrs. ____ Tate, all of Saranac.

Mrs. Harold Cole of Perry, Mrs. Ora ____, and Mrs. William Grummett of Lyons, 
Mr. and Mrs. William J. Ryan of Grand Rapids, John Kennedy of Lansing and 
Richard Kennedy of Minneapolis, Minn.
