ELAINE GRUNDY, 86
Elaine N. Grundy of Ionia, formerly of Lake Odessa, 86, died Sunday evening Nov. 
12, 2017, in Ionia. Elaine was born Nov. 30, 1930, in Roxand Township, the last 
surviving children of Leo and Isa (Huffman) Davis. She was a waitress at Swede's 
restaurant in Mulliken for many years. Elaine was preceded in death by her 
husband John, in 2014 and her daughter, Rosaleen Owens, in 2002.

Surviving are three daughters, Lesa Marquette, Darlene Figel and Karen 
Brandyberry, 10 grandchildren, several; great-and great-great-grandchildren. A 
joint celebration of life service will be held for Elaine and John at 2 p.m. 
Monday, Nov. 20, at Barker-Leik funeral Home, Mulliken with Pastor Nancy Patera 
officiating.
