Ionia Daily Sentinel, 6 May 1918

The funeral for Mrs. Isabelle Guernsey was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at 
the Disciple church.  Rev. C. C. Buckner officiated, assisted by the Relief 
Corps.  Mrs. G. M. Phelps and Mrs. C. E. Hathaway sang.  Burial in Oak Hill 
cemetery.  The bearers were George Pettengill, Lemuel Tingley, George Rector, 
William Wood, W. E. Normington and Myron Morse.  There was a large attendance and 
the flower offering was profuse.
