The Ionia Daly Sentinel, Thursday, May 8, 1919

Mrs. Esther A. Guernsey, aged 67, wife of Dennis Guernsey, died at her home in 
Ionia township on Wednesday afternoon.  Funeral services will be held at her 
late home Friday afternoon at one o’clock, and at the Brick church at two 
o’clock.  Interment will be in the Tuttle cemetery.  Rev. Lahr will officiate.

Subsequent Publication:  Saturday, May 10, 1919

The funeral for Mrs. Esther Guernsey was held at the Brick church on Friday 
afternoon at two o’clock, Rev. Lahr officiating.  The music was furnished by 
Mrs. Tuttle and Mrs. Frank Baker.  The bearers were John, Emory, Fred and 
Oscar Guernsey, Vern Utter and John Wiggins.  The interment was in Tuttle 
cemetery.
