Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 15 & 16 May 1942

Oscar Guernsey, 67, died Friday morning at 8:30 in the University of Michigan
hospital at Ann Arbor.  He was taken there four days ago.  He was born in Ionia
and lived most of his life here.  He is survived by two half brothers, Edward
Guernsey of Bronson and Daniel Guernsey, South Ionia.

The body will be brought to Ionia to the Myers funeral home with arrangements to
be announced later.

Funeral services for Oscar Guernsey, who died Friday at the University hospital
in Ann Arbor, will be held from the Myers funeral home Monday, May 18, at 2:00
p.m.  Burial will be in Tuttle cemetery.
