ANNA LEE GUERNSEY 1928 - 2017
   Anna Lee Guernsey age 89, of Ionia, slipped into the arms of Jesus surrounded by
her family Feb. 7, 2017, at her home.  She was born Jan. 7, 1928, in Ionia, the 
daughter of Charles and Erma (Dick) Potter.  She married Lewis on July 28, 1945, in 
Ionia.
   Anna was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Ionia.  She was a life
member of Sheridan V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and she loved sewing, riding motorcycles 
and convertible rides. She adored her family.
   Anna is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Lewis Guernsey of Ionia;
children, Laurie (Keith) Kemner of Adrian and Terry (Susan) Guernsey of Fowler; 
grandchildren, Charles Lee (Nicole) Guernsey of Ionia, Carla (David) Callier of 
Missouri, Gwendolyn Blair of Alto, Glenda (Pete) Conner of Orleans Cameron Kemner 
of Paw Paw and Collin Kemner of Ohio and  4 great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Gary Guernsey and brother, Richard
Potter.
   Funeral services will be held, 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 13, at Lake Funeral Home in
Ionia with Pastor Cliff Allen officiating. Interment will be at Easton Cemetery.  
Visitation will be held Sunday, 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
   Memorial donations may be made to Ionia Area Hospice.  Online condolences may be
