DOROTHY GUERNSEY  1929 - 2017
  Dorothy O. Guernsey, 87 of Ionia, passed away April 1, 2017.  She was born Dec.
30, 1929 in Sunfield, Michigan the daughter of Gaylen and Modena (Urie) Bliss.
   She married Leonard Guernsey in 1969 he preceded her in death in 2011.
   Dorothy worked as a seamstress for Millard's Cleaners in Ionia for over 35 years.
   Surviving Dorothy are her children, Ron (Mary) Beutler of Texas, Kevin (Ame)
Beutler of Ionia, Ken (Karen) Beutler of Ionia, Todd Guernsey and Julie Anderson 
of Ionia; son-in-law, Al Johnson of Clarksville; grandchildren, Brittney, Kelsey, 
Kari, Kendra, Rylee Camille and Kora; great grandchildren, Blaine and Leland; 
sister, Helen Lamphere of Ionia.
   She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Diane Johnson; and
sister Olive.
   Memorial services will be 1 p..m., Wednesday April 12, at Balcom Cemetery with
Pastor Bliss Allen officiating.  A luncheon will follow at the Ionia Moose Lodge.
