Rites Held for Pearl Gundel

Mrs. Pearl Gundel, 68, of Clarksville Road, Clarksville, passed away Wednesday 
at the Osteopathic Hospital, Grand Rapids where she was hospitalized for a day 
following an extended illness.

She was born near Lansing July 26, 1908, the daughter of James D. and Bertha 
(Donald) Lamb.

She married Versil Reed at Clarksville, August 17, 1929 and he passed away April 
13, 1959.

She married Voight Gundel in November 1960 and he passed away November 23, 1970.

Mrs. Gundel attended the Clarksville Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Miles (Patsy) Nelson of Clarksville and Mrs. 
Mitch (June) Conley of Portland; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two 
foster grandchildren and four foster great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday at one o'clock at the Wesleyan Church at 
Clarksville. Rev. Arthur Ruder officiated with burial in the Saranac Cemetery.

Arrangements by the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapels.
