          BETTY MAE GUNDERMAN DIES AT LAKE O' HOSPITAL
   Betty Mae, the seven-tear-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs E. W. Gunderman of
northeast Odessa, died Thursday, Feb. 10 at the local hospital after a three weeks' 
illness of spinal meningitis.  She is survived by her parents, a nine-year-old sister 
Ruth, and a two-year-old brother James, also grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J. A. 
Simmons, and Mrs. Esther Simmons.
   Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home and the Carr Wesleyan
Methodist church, with the Rev. Donald J. Backa officiating.  Interment was made in 
Lakeside cemetery.
