Portland Review, 18 Apr 1905

Samuel Gunn, nearly 80 years of age, died at his home near Sebewa Center 
Tuesday and was buried in the township cemetery Thursday.  He was a brother of 
Joshua and Theodore Gunn, both of whom died a few years ago.  He was one of the 
early settlers of Sebewa and is survived by four sons and a daughter, one of 
the sons, Joshua, living on the old farm.

A few months ago Mr. Gunn’s house burned and he suffered a shock at that time 
from which he never fully recovered.
