Sebewa Township's Oldest Resident died Monday

George Gunn, 87, Sebewa township's oldest resident, died Monday. He was born 
April 29, 1862 in Lenawee county and came with his parents to Sebewa in 1865, 
where he had spent the rest of his life on his farm.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs Beulah Cassel of Traverse City, a grandson Kenneth 
Cassel of Lansing a great grandson Larry Cassel and a sister Miss Ella Gunn both 
of Sebewa.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 at the Sebewa Center Methodist church 
where he was a charter member. Burial was in Sebewa cemetery.
