Ionia Sentinel Standard, 12 Feb 1923

Mr. Thomas Gunnell, whose home has been at 432 West Washington street, died 
Sunday morning at Butterworth hospital, after a few days illness with 
pneumonia.  Mr. and Mrs. Gunnell came to Ionia from Mt. Pleasant about five 
years ago.  Mr. Gunnell has been working at the Hayes-Ionia plant for a year 
and Mrs. Gunnell had been there to visit him and expected to come home the day 
she was taken ill.
