MARGURITE LUCILLE GUY

Margurite "Peggy" Lucille GuyFebruary 7, 1930December 9, 2021, age 91.

Peggy graduated from Woodland High School and spent most of her working years as 
an insurance supervisor, retiring from Hastings Mutual Insurance Company. Peggy 
met her future husband,Max Alton Guy while attending a one room school 
house.They were married in 1948; living in Woodland and then Middle Lake for 30 
years. Max and Peggy enjoyed their retirement years in Zephyrhills, FL.

Peggy discovered a love for golf; sometimes golfing four times a week and often 
walked three miles a day. She was a member of Riverbend GOLf Course in Florida. 
Peggy was known among her family as being an excellent cook, with most of her 
recipes committed to memory.

Peggy was predeceased by her parents,Iris Wilson Norris (Cooper) and Clarence 
Norris and her siblings, Violet Woods, Gordon Norris, and Keith Norris.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Max Guy; her children Craig Guy and 
Pam Kihn. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kelly (John) Donlin, 
Michelle (Steve) Crouch, Christine (Jeff) Molenaar, Trent (Amy) Harvey, and 
Craig (Heather) Harvey; and great grandchildren,Shane Willett, Andy Donlin, 
Johnny Munro, Alley Masse, Brittany Molenaar, Evan Molenaar, Abby Harvey,Logan 
Harvey, and Olivia Harvey; and one great-great-granddaughter, Skylar Willett.

Memorial Services were held at Lauer Family Funeral Home-Wren Chapel in Hastings 
on Friday Dec. 17, 2021.
