M. Hecox on Union street. Rev. M. L. Marshall conducted the service and was assisted by Rev. C. E. Hoag. The music was by Mrs. G.M. Phelps and Mrs. Thane Benedict, who sang some favorite hymns. An abundance of beautiful floral offerings testified to the esteem in which the deceased was held. The bearers were Fred Cutler Jr., Levi Marshall, Ed. Merriett, E. E. Slye, Geo. Kuhtz and F. Eddy. The remains were interred in the family lot at Oak Hill by the side of her husband. Those from away to attend the funeral were H. F. Strong of Greenville, the only surviving one of her five brothers, and Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Guyberson of Grand Rapids. A granddaughter, Mrs. A. O. Wheeler, Jr., of Grand Rapids, was unable to be present on account of illness.
