Ionia Daily Sentinel, 5 Jul 1952

John G. Haag, 93, died suddenly Saturday morning, July 5, at the home of his 
son, Harold, at Woodard Lake.  He was born December 1, 1868, at Rockford and 
was a farmer there most of his life.  He retired about 11 years ago and has 
been living with his son since then.

He leaves two sons, Harold of Woodard Lake and Howard of Japan; a daughter, 
Mrs. Myra Sage of Central Lake; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 
a sister, Mrs. Mary Stoops, of Rockford.

Funeral arrangements are being made by the Myers funeral home.  Interment will 
be in Cortland cemetery near Rockford.
