Haag, 79, of Clarksville, died Jan. 12 at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital. He was born the son of Harold and Elvina Hansen Haag on Sept. 11, 1911, in Rockford. He was graduated from Creston High School in Grand Rapids in 1932. He was employed by Stehower Motor Sales in 1932. After leaving Grand Rapids in 1945, he worked for Joe Lyons Pontiac in Ionia, Peschke Packing and Mitchell-Bentley. He leased the Standard Oil Station on Main and Dexter. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ionia. Surviving are his wife; two daughters; one son; four grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Schultz and Beatrice Bruin, both of Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard. Arrangements by Cook Funeral Home, Ionia.
