Haas, wife of William Haas, proprietor of the East End dairy, will be held from the home, 114 North Jackson street, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with Rev. W.F. Kendrick of the Methodist Episcopal church assisting Rev. C.E. Hoag. Burial will be made in Portland cemetery. Mrs. Haas, who had been in poor health since last May, passed away at her home Wednesday evening at 7:30. She was born in Orange township August 25, 1883, and is survived, besides her husband, by two sons, Howard and Robert, at home; one daughter by a prior marriage, Mrs. Jeanette Gilbert of Owosso; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Townsend and Mrs. Pearl McCloud, both of Detroit, as well as a host of other relatives. She was a member of Queen Esther chapter, O.E.S., and of Ionic shrine, White Shrine of Jerusalem.
