Ionia Sentinel Standard-Thursday June 25, 1964

                              GEORGE L. HABERSTUMPF

George L.Haberstumpf, 55 of route one, Orleans, died Wednesday night at Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital following a two year illness.

He operated a dry cleaning establishment in Ionia 25 years and after selling the 
Ionia business, operated a shop in Greenville seven years.

He was born in Ionia January 13, 1909 and lived most of his life int he county. 
He was the son of William Haberstumpf, Sr., of State street ad the late 
Mrs.Haberstumpf.

Surviving are his wife Naomi; one son, Donald and a daughter Mrs.A.J. Fountain 
of Ionia; his father and one brother, William Haberstumpf Jr., of iOnia and one 
grandson.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2  pm at Myers funeral home with burial in 
the family lot at Balcom cemetery.
