Ionia Sentinel Standard, 22 Aug 1932

August Hackett, 46, died Thursday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. 
Gustave Ulrich, of Keene.  The funeral services were conducted Sunday, 1:30 at 
the home of the sister and 2:30 at the German Lutheran church with Rev. B. H. 
Succop in charge.  The burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.

Mr. Hackett was born in Odessa township and had lived his entire life in Ionia 
county.  He had been sick for a long time.

Besides his sister he leaves three brothers, Fred, of Grand Rapids; Arthur, of 
Ionia, and Louis of Lake Odessa.
