Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Nov 1990

Forest Hackett, 90, of Ionia, died Nov. 16 at the Belding Christian Nursing
Home.  He was born the son of Eugene and Luella Harwood Hackett on March 28,
1900 in Ionia.  He worked for 40 years for A.O. Smith and Mitchell-Bentley.  He
retired in 1965.  He married Eleanor Haberstumpf on May 26, 1956. 

Surviving are his wife Eleanor; two daughters, Janice Erridge of Duck Lake, and
Nancy Kenyon of Ionia; one step-daughter, Peggy Fountain of Ionia.  He was
preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Eugene.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service or visitation. 
Burial was in Balcom Cemetery.  Arrangements were by Cook Funeral Home in Ionia.
