The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, February 2, 1953


Funeral services for Mrs. Luella B. Hackett, 84, who died Thursday afternoon, 
January 29, at the home of her son, Eugene Hackett, were conducted Saturday at 
2:30 p.m. at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  The Rev. Court O. Adams of the 
First Christian church officiated.  Bearers were Paul Courter, Louis Kahl, Leo 
Coulson and Earl Hahn.  Interment was in Balcom cemetery.

Out-of-town persons attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hackett, 
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hahn of Lansing; Mr. and 
Mrs. John Erridge of Belding; and Mrs. Lydia Walter, Mrs. Vinnie Gates and Mrs. 
Phina Smith of Saranac.
