Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Jan 1983

Margaret D. Hackett, 80, of 920 Clayton, Lansing, a former Ionian, died Monday
in Lansing.  She was born Aug. 3, 1902, in Ionia, the daughter of Minnie and
Herman Hahn, and was married to Donald Hackett.  He preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Russell (June) Anderson of Lansing; two
granddaughters, Diane Summers and Patricia Monroe; and five great grandchildren;
and one brother, Earl Hahn of Lansing.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Tiffany-Jessen Funeral Home,
3232 West Saginaw, Lansing, with the Rev. James C. Dotson officiating.  Burial
will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing.  Visitation will be until 9
p.m. Thursday.
