Lake Odessa Wave, 7 Feb 1957

Mrs. Jennie Haddix, 86, widow of Bishop Haddix passed away unexpectedly Monday
night at her home.  She had been in ill health for several years and had been
cared for recently by Mrs. Pearl Dailey.  Coroner Dale Kauffman reported death
was caused by coronary thrombosis.  Mr. Haddix, meat market owner and stock
buyer died July 21, 1923.

Surviving are one granddaughter, Mrs. Robert (Elaine) Broderick of Birmingham;
one brother William Wilcox of Tavares, Florida and two great granddaughters,
nieces and nephews.  Her daughter Edith Yager passed away in October 1945.

Mrs. Hadix reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel where funeral services will be
held Friday at 1:30 with burial in Lakeside cemetery.  Rev. Paul Robinson will
officiate.
