Ionia Daily Sentinel – 26 March 1962
Price O. Haddock, 70, died Sunday afternoon at his home at 525 High Street.  He 
had been ill two years.   Mr. Haddock had lived in Ionia 44 years and for 25 
years was employed as a guard to Michigan Reformatory.  He retired in 1955.  He 
was born May 28, 1891 in Hines, Ala., the son of Jesse and Sarah Parrish 
Haddock,   and was married to Lillian Chamberlain of Ionia in 1932.



Mr. Haddock was a member of Ionia First Methodist church.  He is survived by 
his wife, Lillian; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Barcelow of Ionia; a step-daughter, 
Mrs. Louise Smith of Novato, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. 
Mamie Hendrick of Island, Ky.



Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2:30 pm at Myers Funeral home with the 
Rev.  Harold Jayne, pastor of First Methodist church officiating.   Interment 
will be in the family lot at Easton Cemetery.
