Haddow, 72, died Sunday at Palo at the home of Fred Walker. He was born February 1, 1883 at Palo the son of William and Welthy Haddow. On October 29, 1904 he was married to Maude Kintz who died December 9, 1951. In 1908 he left Palo for Grand Rapids where he was employed by a railroad. At the time of his retirement in 1947 he was a signal maintenance man for the C and O railroad. He was a charter member of the Signal Men’s union of the C and O railroad and a life member of Grand River Lodge No. 34 F&AM of Grand Rapids. He is survived by four nephews, all of Kalispell, Montana. Funeral services will be held from the Boynton funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. The Rev. W. W. Pixley will officiate. Masonic graveside services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock by the Masonic lodge at Woodland cemetery, Grand Rapids.
