Hadley, 59, of route one, died Friday afternoon at 4:30 at the Ionia County Memorial hospital, where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. She had been ill for about four years. Born in Watertown township, Clinton county, February 28, 1898, she was a daughter of George T. and Cora B. Nourse. She was married February 5, 1920 to Rex A. Hadley, in Lansing, and they had been residing at their farm home at route one, Ionia, for about the past ten years, coming from Watertown township. Mrs. Hadley was a member of the Pleasant Hill Literary club, Ronald Grange and Farm Bureau. Surviving are her husband, Rex; one sister, Mrs. Carl (Jessie) Beghold of Largo, Fla.; one brother, B. F. Nourse of Grand Ledge; two nieces, Mrs. Carl (Dorothy) Kiekbusch of Utica and Mrs. Charles (Nancy) Marr of Richland and one nephew, Robert Nourse of Grand Ledge. Friends and relatives will be received at the Estes-Leadley funeral home in Lansing, and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
