R. A. Rook officiated. Bearers were Harold and Howard Stanke, Donald Dean, Herman Hafner Jr., Rolland Wehr and Howard Hafner. Burial was in Highland Park cemetery. Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Wehr and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Wehr and family and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Wehr of Charlotte; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stanke and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Stanke and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stanke, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Woodin and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stanke of Flint; Mrs. John Hafner, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hafner and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith of Lansing; Mrs. Frank Schroeder of Pontiac; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Possehn and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Merle Church of Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stanke and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Stanke and Mrs. Raymond Cross of Portland and Mrs. Nancy Adams of Belding. The deceased woman’s son, John, of Lansing was unable to be present as he is confined to his home with pneumonia.
