Belding Banner, 23 Feb 1899

North Orleans. – Mrs. Charles Hagadorn died Monday night at five o’clock.  She
has been sick for some time.  She was married to Charles Hagadorn about one year
ago.

Long Lake. – Died.  Monday about five o’clock, Mrs. Chas. Hagadorn, formerly
known as Jane Goul.  She was a great sufferer before she died but was conscious
up to the last.  She had the grippe a few weeks ago and that together with the
terrible pain she has had in her back and stomach was the cause of her death. 
The last words she spoke was to tell her husband not to try to lift her or it
might hurt his side again.  Her brother, Peter, and niece, Mrs. Durphy, of
Greenville came Tuesday to stay until after the funeral.
