Services for Max Hahn of North Jefferson who died New Year’s Eve were held 
Wednesday at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran church at 2 p.m. by the Rev. R. 
A. Rook.  Bearers were Herman Pinnow, Roy Zick, Jesse Root and Ferd W. Tafel.  
Interment was in Balcom cemetery.

Attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Simmons, Mrs. 
Bertha Blanck, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hahn, Mrs. Don Hackett, Mrs. Chris Hassler, 
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Hassler, Mrs. Fred Gregory, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sadler, 
Mrs. Albert Schuon and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hawn of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Paul 
Martin and Mr. and Mrs. William Martin of Belding; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hahn, 
Richard Hahn, Mrs. James Norris and Mrs. Wilhelmina Csanyl of Detroit; Mrs. 
Bertha Bishop of Grand Rapids and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Hahn and Mr. and Mrs. 
Frank Conner and family of Muir.
