Ionia County News, 24 Oct 1957

Mrs. Carl F. Hahn, 61, 3186 Alter Rd., Detroit, died at 9:30 a.m. at Deaconess
Hospital, Detroit, after an illness of two years.  She was born March 4, 1896 at
Aschaffenbury, Germany to Peter in Clares Andres Philipp, and was united in
marriage to Carl F. Hahn, at Detroit, January 22, 1916, where they have resided
at their present home for the past ten years.

Surviving are her husband, Carl F. Hahn; three sons, Emil L. Hahn, Grand Rapids,
Richard L. Hahn, Detroit, Robert J. Hahn, Cleveland, Ohio; five daughters, Mrs.
Adolph (Anna) Kruger, Detroit, Mrs. Frank (Wilhelmina) Csanyi, Detroit, Mrs.
James (Helen) Norris, Sumatra, Indonesia, Mrs. Henry (Bertha) Bishop, Grand
Rapids, Miss Lucile K. Hahn, of Detroit; and a sister, Mrs. Herman Mathies,
Stetten Island, New York; and 10 grand children.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, October 15, at 10:00 a.m., at Myers Funeral
Home with Rev. Fr. John S. Fons officiating.  Burial was in Balcom Cemetery.
