Hahn, 62, wife of Emil Hahn, of 669 Rich street, died unexpectedly at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. She had been in ill health for 23 years. She was born in Ionia September 3, 1885, the daughter of Fred and Minnie Hoth, and lived all her life on Rich street. On November 24, 1909 she married Emil Hahn, who now operates a grocery on East Main street. Mrs. Hahn was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church and of the women's auxiliary and the ladies' society of that church. Surviving her are the husband, Emil; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Boughton of Ionia and Mrs. Minnie Malowitz of Jackson; and a niece, Mrs. Virginia McAndrews of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, at 2 p.m. from Boynton's funeral home, with the Rev. R.A. Rook officiating. Interment will be in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
