Ionia Sentinel, 7 Oct 1944

Mrs. Charles F. Haight, 78, of 663 East Main street, died Friday night at 11:15 
o’clock at the Ionia County Memorial hospital, where she had been taken 
Wednesday morning suffering from pneumonia to be placed in an oxygen tent.

Eliza A. Horrigan was born in Jordan, Onondaga county, New York, November 4, 
1865, and had lived in Ionia county 65 years.

Surviving are her husband, Charles; two brothers, Henry J. Horrigan of Detroit 
and Edgar A. Horrigan of Davenport, Iowa; a niece, Mrs. Evelyn Williams Godin, 
of Benton Harbor; three nephews, Vann S. Horrigan and Henry J. Horrigan, jr., 
of Davenport, Iowa, and Robert Horrigan of Detroit.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the 
residence, where Mrs. Haight reposes.  Burial will be in the family lot in 
Highland Park cemetery.
