The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, May 17, 1919

Albertus Haight, aged six years, nine months, died at Butterworth hospital in 
Grand Rapids on Friday evening after a serious illness, which necessitated a 
severe operation, and from which he never recovered.  The remains were brought 
to Ionia this morning to the home on Adams St.  The funeral will be held 
Tuesday morning at nine o’clock at the church of SS. Peter and Paul.  The 
interment will be in Mt. Olivet.

Subsequent Publication:  Tuesday, May 20, 1919

The funeral for Albertus J. Haight was held at the Church of SS. Peter and 
Paul at nine o’clock Tuesday morning, Rev. Fr. Gabriels officiating.  The 
bearers were Edward Waters, Morris Pierce, William O’Connor and John 
O’Connor.  The interment was at Mt. Olivet.
