Haight, Charles F.
DOD:  Sunday, 20 December 1952

Charles F. Haight, 88, an Ionia grocer for more than 30 years, died Sunday 
evening and funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 
o’clock from the Myers funeral home, with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating.  
Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.

Mr. Haight had conducted a grocery at East Main and Cleveland streets, a 
business which he entered about the time the Pere Marquette sops where he had 
been employed as a machinist left Ionia.

He was born March 26, 1865, in New York State and came to Ionia about 40 years 
ago.  He is survived by his wife, Ella J. Haight.
