L. Haight, Terrace Ave., Ionia, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Herbert Everest, in Detroit, Wednesday, January 29, after a brief illness of pneumonia. Miss Haight was born in Ionia and lived here until 20 years ago. At that time she went to Detroit as office assistant to her brother, Dr. E. A. Haight, of Highland Park, and resided with her sister, Mrs. Everest. Besides her mother, Mrs. E. L. Haight, Miss Haight is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Frank J. Hoar, Ionia, Mrs. Herbert Everest, Detroit; four brothers, Dr. E. A. Haight, Highland Park; Dr. Lee Haight, Bellevue; Wallace and Chandler Haight, Sr., Ionia. Largely attended funeral services were held from the home of her sister, Mrs. Frank J. Hoar, 15 Terrance Avenue, Sunday afternoon at two o’clock. Rev. Matthew W. Duffey officiated. Relatives attending the funeral Sunday were: Dr. and Mrs. E. A. Haight, Highland Park; Dr. and Mrs. Lee Haight, Mrs. York, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pendle, of Bellevue; Mr. and Mrs. Ashley Boysel, Herbert Everest, Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Bowden, daughter, Mary Lou and Mr. Bowden, Sr., South Bend, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Haight, Jr., Highland Park and Elmer Haight and daughter, Esther, of Hubbardston.
