Haight, who died Friday evening, June 5, at his home, 170 Adams street, from heart disease. The mass was chanted by Rev. Fr. J. V. Coyle, assisted by Rev. Fr. R. E. Kelley and Rev. Fr. Lawrence L. Dorr, of Belding. The Spanish American war veterans, camp No. 56, attended in a body and acted as honorary escort, and the Captain Frank D. Curtis auxiliary No. 35 also attended in a body. The honorary pallbearers were Spanish American war veterans, Hiram Crandall, Henry Miller, Charles Cheney, Abe Snyder, Earl Mason, William Krueger, Glenn Lawless and Benjamin Quick. The active bearers were Michael Pierce, Maurice Pierce, Marion O'Conner, Dennis O'Conner, James O'Conner and Herbert Ross. A military funeral service was held at the grave at Mt. Olivet cemetery, Company H firing squad firing three volleys at the grave, and the American flag was presented by Earl Mason, adjutant of the Spanish American war veterans, taps being sounded by Leon Lockwood, Jr., member of the American Legion Band. Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral services were Worthy Post and son Earl, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Youngs, of Owosso; Mrs. Edmund Fitzpatrick, Mr. and Mrs. James Fitzpatrick and son Arthur, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wright, of Hubbardston; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowen, John Bowen, of Carson City; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis O'Conner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Avery, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pierce Mr. and Mrs. Laurice Pierce, Mr. and Mrs. George Freemen, Mrs. Gayle Wheeler, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pickett of Lansing; Mrs. Frank Pierce, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Donnelick, Mr. and Mrs. William Hauffman, Mr. and Mrs. Edmond O'Conner, of Fowler; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Whitmer, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Nestwold, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Higbee and family, Miss Alice Haight of Detroit; Mr. and Mr. Co.
