Ionia Standard, 8 May 1885

The funeral of Miss Claudie Haight was held at M.E. church of Bonanza last
Sunday.  It was a large funeral; the church could hold only about half of those
who came, and it was so cold a good many had to go home.  Claudie left a large
circle of friends.  Elder Shafer preached the sermon.  The burial was at Jordan
Lake Cemetery.

[Transcribers Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that she was the
daughter of Stephen and Mary M. Haight of Woodland center.]
