Helen J. Haight, who died in Greenville on the 28th day of September last, was 
the beloved wife of John Haight and had been a resident of this city for the 
last fourteen years.  She was born February 2, 1848, in the state of Ohio and 
when sixteen years of age moved with her parents to Ronald township, Ionia 
county, spending the remainder of her life in Ionia and Montcalm counties 
except a short residence in Osceola county.  For years she has been patient 
and kind, a devoted wife and an upright noble woman, trying to do the will of 
her Master whom she loved and worshiped.  She left to mourn her loss a husband 
and two sons.
