Very rapidly they are passing. Mrs. Margaret Haight, whose husband was a partner of G. W. Weed in the first business building constructed in Lake Odessa, was buried in Lakeside cemetery beside her husband who died a good many years ago. Mrs. Haight was the grandmother of Mrs. Galia Brummeler of Grand Rapids with whom she has made her home for a number of years. Mrs. Brummeler had given her a daughter’s tender thought and care and made every effort to make these last days comfortable and happy. Rev. H. E. Walter of St. Paul’s M. E. church Grand Rapids of which she was a member preached and the music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Gilson, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Goodemoot and Mrs. Harley Owen.
