Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 11 Oct 1962

Lake Odessa – Mrs. Elsie M. Haines, 72, of 1004 McArthur street, died
unexpectedly at 6:20 Thursday morning at Pennock hospital in Hastings.  She was
a patient there since Tuesday.  Born August 18, 1890 in Woodland township, she
was the daughter of Louis and Katherine Fox Bizer, and was married in Detroit,
December 11, 1915 to Ben H. Haines.  Mrs. Haines moved to Lake Odessa five years
ago from Lansing where she resided 23 years.  Prior to that she had lived in
Detroit.

Surviving are her husband, Ben; a sister, Gertrude Bizer of Detroit, and a
brother, Paul Bizer of Howell.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens funeral
chapel with burial at Woodland Memorial cemetery.
