George Allen Hair, age 66, of Muir passed away Nov. 20, 2013, in Muir.  He was 
born Aug. 21, 1947, in Ionia the son of Frederick and Arzella (Ingraham) Hair.  
George married Sandra White April 30, 1966, in Ionia. 

He worked at TRW in Portland from 1965 - 2002.  George was a leader for 
Swinging Gaits and Ionia Town and Country 4-H clubs and was a member of NRA.  
He loved to hunt and fish.

George is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandy Hair of Muir; 
daughters, Melinda Hair Walton of Coleman and Marissa Hair of Alaska; 
grandchildren, Ryan Walton of Houghton, Jarid Walton of Coleman, Andrea 
Campbell of Battle Creek, Raechelle Wilkins of Hastings, Brandy Deppe of 
Hastings and Tiffiny Hoaglin of North Carolina; sister, Lacinda (Harold) Hair 
Davis of Oklahoma; aunts, Mezella Underwood of Ionia and Ruth Ingraham of 
Portland; mother-in-law, Jean White of Coldwater; and brother and sister-in-
laws, Bob (Cheryl) White of Coldwater, Deb (Fred) Marowelli of Dewitt, Pat 
(Jan) White of Coldwater, and Pam (Rudy) Ochoa of Coldwater. He was preceded in 
death by his uncle Robert Hair.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Funeral Home of Ionia 
with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment Tuttle Cemetery.  Visitation 
will be held Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
