The Belding Banner-News, Wednesday, June 21, 1922

Mrs. Andrew Hale, aged 81 years, well known former resident of Orleans 
township died at the home of a son Elmer Hale, 56 Sutton Ave., Grand Rapids, 
Monday even at 6:30 o’clock.  Undertaker Bruce Fales went to Grand Rapids that 
night and brought the body to the home of another son, Frank Hale of Orleans, 
from where the funeral was held this Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, Rev. 
Osborne officiating and burial was in Green’s cemetery.
